According to Polish legislation, a foreigner can start work if:
- There is a work permit (Oświadczenie, Zezwolenie);
-
There is a certificate of medical examination;
-
There is a document that confirms that the person has passed security procedures;
-
There is medical insurance(ZUS)
In the event that there is no one of the above-mentioned documents, there is a possibility that
in the event of an inspection, the employee, intermediary may receive a fine
and the employer.
Therefore, before hiring a person, the employer must prepare all the documents.
So how long to wait?
The statement is issued by Powiatowy Urząd Pracy at the request of the employer.
It usually takes 3 to 5 working days.
But it can be considered up to 14 working days.
After receiving Oświadczenia, the rest of the documents are prepared within one or two working days.
We do everything we can to get people out as quickly as possible because we understand that people don't have the time or money to just sit and wait.
But, unfortunately, not everything depends on us.
